Summary

Moses assured the people that Joshua would lead them well with G-d’s guidance. He then  announced  Joshua as his successor. Moses wrote down his teaching and handed it to the priests. G-d appeared to Moses and Joshua at the Tent of Meeting in a cloud. G-d instructed Moses to recite a poem to forewarn their people of their future betrayal and to tell them of their future redemption.
