Parshat Mishpatim
Exodus Chapters 21:1 to 24:18

After proclaiming the Ten Commandments, G-d added a set of ethical and ritual laws, and promised victory to the Israelites when they entered Canaan – if the people remained loyal to G-d. The people pledged to do so.
Moses went up Mount Sinai a second time with 70 elders, however the elders went back down to the camp. Moses remained alone on the mountain for 40 days.
