1. Today is Mitzvah day at your congregation. It also is when some of your non-Jewish friends are thinking of going to a movie. What do you think you should do?
2. Do you volunteer? What do you do? What other volunteering opportunities to you have?

What Does This Parshah Mean to Me?

1. Do you observe Shabbat? What can you do to make that day special?
2. In the Torah we are commanded not to kindle fire on shabbat. How can you translate that today? What do you think examples can be?
3. What does “if their spirit moves them” mean?
4. How do you think the people felt as they built the Sanctuary?
5. There are many items described in this portion that were part of the Sanctuary. What similarities can you find in a synagogue today?
