What Does This Parshah Mean to Me?

  1. Why is justice so important?
  2. Why do you think a person can be found guilty only if there are two or more witnesses present?
  3. Why should fruit trees not be destroyed in war?
  4. One of the rules about capital punishment in this portion is that the witneesses must be the first ones to carry out the sentence. Why do you think this is so?
