1. Look up different types of charities in your community.  Which ones appeal to you? What can you do to help them?
2. Your teacher tells you that you are really cool. How does that make you feel?  How does that make you want to act?

What Does This Parshah Mean to Me?

1. Do you think God still blesses and curses people?
2. What do you think it means the Jews are God’s people?
3. What do you think a sacrifice is?  What do you think has replaced it today?
4. Look at chapter 26, verses 5 – 9.  Look in the Passover haggadah. See  if you find these verses.
5. Compare the first group of curses  (chapter 27, verses 15-26). Compare them to the Ten Commandments. Do you see any relationships?
6. What does Amen mean?
7. Why do we need to care for the stranger?
8. What important events in modern Jewish history have really impacted Judaism today?
